100 Years Young: Our Founder's Vision is an exhibition created by the Hollywood Historical Society to commemorate the centennial of the Florida city-by-the-sea. Led and organized by HHS's Executive Director, Andy Ruffner, and based on research by Joan Mickelson, Ph.D., I looked towards common motifs in local architecture to design elements of this installation. From the title wall using Gills Sans, a font developed the same year as Hollywood, FL to the recreation and scaling of the original platt drawings done by Joseph Young—I designed this exhibition to be appreciated and interacted with by viewers of ArtsPark in Hollywood's Young Circle.
